Awesome Rocket ShipDec 27, 2009

We first saw this in a catalog and thought it would be great for our 4 yr old son. Similar items we saw in other catalogs did not have as many opening compartments or the astronauts and aliens, nor did we find any other rocket ships on amazon that seemed to be as nice as this one so we were thrilled to learn we could order this through Amazon. We were not disappointed. Our son insisted on taking it out of the box as soon as he unwrapped it and has been playing with it almost continually for the past two days. He loves opening the three levels, putting things in and taking them out, flying the rocket around the house and having lots of adventures. This was probably the hit gift this Christmas.

My son just received this toy as a gift for his 3rd Birthday. He's thrilled! The space ship is adorable with the two astronauts and three aliens (or as he calls them aweeaons). He's already creating new stories and adventures for them to have together. The moon buggy is a plus and all the figures fit inside (one at a time). He's flying the spaceship all over the house and insists that the moon buggy and at least one aweeons join us on any trip away from the house. Well made toy, and I forsee many years of adventures with it. Love IT!

I'm writing my first review of any product on Amazon, because this toy is...the...best. It has inspired my 2yr old son to imagine that he works on the moon and brings me back moon-cake daily (love it. Push the button and it says "3,2,1 Blast off..." followed by the sound of it taking off. Durable and fun. The extra toys inside (little car and people) are average... nothing special. But the rocket is completely awesome.

Got this toy for my little boy who is turning 4 in May.This kind of thing is right up his ally. Good thing I tested it out before his party. The sound didn't work even with newly purchased batteries. I'm sending it back for a exchange in hopes that the next one will work. I'll add to my review once we get the new one and he actually gets to play with it.

My son requested a rocket ship for his birthday (he said he needed to find that green balloon he let go of). I had a hard time finding one in local stores, so I turned to trusty Amazon and found this one, which had great reviews. My son received this at his 3rd birthday party on Sunday and four days later, I have barely been able to get it out of his hands! This product is durable and sturdy (he's yanked the doors off multiple times and they snap right back in), the aliens are adorable, and everything stores away in the rocket compartments. What a bright, cheerful, engaging toy! I'm looking forward to all of our future outer space adventures :)
