I was just browsing through Glee stuff one evening, mostly looking for keychains. (I collect them. LOL) When I saw this, right away I thought it was a very cool charm. And then I read that it could be turned on to blink and flash. I clicked 'buy' the very next instant. LOL These can be used almost anywhere, and I knew exactly where I wanted mine to go. I'm very sick, and I carry around a load of medication and emergency treatment, and other things related to my illness, in my childhood backpack. Shoot, at this point, 30 years later, it's a part of me. LOL And I wanted two charms, one for each zipper. And that's exactly what I did.
The charms are a bit clunkier than the picture looks, as in they just have a bit more girth. They are, after all, electronically operated. That being said, they are very light weight. They look great just by themselves, with what appears to be purple lettering inset into the grey plastic. But when you get it up and running, it flashes in bright purple, for all the world to see, SUPER GLEEK! I put mine on both my zippers, as I said, with the intent of making my backpack less dreary, something more than just a medical kit. And I LOVE to go to breakfast with my best friend and his wife and their son, and turn both my SUPER GLEEK signs to flashing. LOL You can see people staring, taking notice, but so far no one but fans have said anything. That is, the people who might find that a bit too flashy don't say anything, but the people who love Glee will often say 'I LOVE GLEE!!! Where did you get those?!' And I happily steer them towards Amazon, and towards Glee's further world wide domination. Mwah ha ha! LOL I must say, it is a treat to sit there and watch from the corner of my eyes as people don't know what to make of my flashing backpack. I'm a big burly guy in a wheelchair, with flashing purple Super Gleek charms. LOL
The charms are big enough to be attached virtually anywhere. Backpacks, purse straps, or anything that one of the leads can be pushed through and then resnapped to itself, which is pretty much anything. GREAT for backpacks and purses. If Glee teaches us anything, it's to proudly be who we are. In this case, we're proud SUPER GLEEKS! LOL
