DO NOT BUY! UNSAFE!Oct 24, 2009
By Jen Doe We bought this toy, along with the similar rocket version for our son's birthday. I was thrilled to finally have found a "big jet" toy. However, within hours of opening, the back wheel had fallen off. The wheel on the rocket came off as well. Thinking it a fluke, we took both toys back to the retailer and received new ones. AGAIN, the wheels came off in a short period of time. This time I called Fisher price and explained the situation. I sent them the toy to examine, and received a refund. I have heard no feedback from FP regarding the obvious safety issue.
This toy is marked for ages 3 and up. That is too young an age group, as both wheels are smaller in diameter then a toilet paper tube, and thus fail the consumer product safety standards. My child was luckily supervised during its use, or the wheels might have ended up somewhere else. AVOID!

"sugar wips"
My son and I have so much fun making Big Jet go as fast as he can down the hallway. If you tilt it up on it's rear wheels it will stay like that while it's moving, spin around, and keep going straight like it's doing a wheelie. So cute!! It got a lot of bad reviews, people said it fell apart after a week. But my son's bday was 2 weeks ago and so far so good. Of course now we can't find him because he probably rolled or got kicked underneath something. He's hiding - that sneaky Big Jet.

"stays up way too late"
The back wheels do fall off, but what are you going to do? My boy loves big jet and we ended up buying 2 of them as we thought we lost the original. He is now "other big jet".. What kid plays with it by rolling it anyway, most kids use it to fly throught he air...take in the bath...bury it in mud...bury it in sand...that jet can take a beating!
Not worth the price!Jan 25, 2012
By k46hand My son loves Little Einsteins so I got big jet for his birthday. I must say I was a little disappointed for the price I paid for it. The push button is not very functional especially for my 3 year old.
Nothing "Big" about itDec 02, 2011
By H's Mom What a disapointing product! It fits in the palm of my 3 year old son's hand and it is remarkably small. It resembles a cheap toy you could buy in the airport only 4 times as expensive. Durability is questionable at best. We may have it for the rest of the evening. I'm underwhelmed. My son was also surprised to see what came out of the box. The anticipation was the greatest part of this purchase.
