Hamlyns Pin Head Oats are great, but hard to find...Mar 31, 2007

But at my local grocery or natural foods store, I can pick up a package of Bob's Red Mill for just over three dollars. The texture isn't as nutty, but the flavor is and I'm not sure how they pulled it off. I'm just glad!!

Bob's Red Mill, Scottish (Porridge), oatsNov 03, 2006

It's my fault I didn't notice they were Bob's Red Mill. nothing wrong with BRM but I thought they may have at least came from England if not Scotland where the cut is perfect. BRM are a little smaller but I cooked up some last weekend and it's great! Just not the same texture as real Scottish Oatmeal, but still yummy. They arrived quickly, and in great shape. My review is of the oats not the company that sent them. :)
