Very yummy: bright fresh, fruitwood notesDec 10, 2009

I sampled a great batch of Taylor's//Kwazulu, then bought a really mediocre batch of the same recently, so I was on the hunt for a decent black tea. The "New English Tea Co." afternoon tea was better than most, but then I tried this "Tea of Life" Scottish Afternoon....wow! It has the high, bright fresh-fruitwood note the long-lost special Kwazulu had, and is even better. The aftertaste is sunny and woody too. Time will tell whether these folks can produce this flavor consistently, but I am really impressed with this batch. I got it at a Marshall's in New England. Great to see it's easy to find online as well. Note that the high price is actually for 6 tins. I'll try another singleton purchase before committing to 6, but this is an awesome start.

I have been an avid tea drinker for four decades and I simply love this tea. No flower essences like Earl Grey, but just a little more kick than your standard black tea from the market. This is my go to tea! It has a very clean tea flavor.

I love the aroma tase color of the Cylon tea. We drink it at home black, not to diminish its suble tast.
I often give it as a gift to tea lovers. The packaging is elegant.

When my husband & I were both retired we decided to switch from coffee to hot tea as our morning drink of preference. A co-worker had introduced us to the Tea of Life series & happened to have some Scottish Afternoon on hand for us to try. She sold us! We have been using this ever since then & were delighted to find it available at Amazon. So we would like to thank Janet Read for introducing us to it & to Amazon for providing us with a reliable source to purchase it.

I received this same tin of Scottish Afternoon Tea as a gift from my son. I've never forgotten it and was thrilled to see it on Amazon. It is fabulous tea. Plus the stainless steel look of the tin enhances my stainless kitchen appliances. Nice tight fitting snap lock cover keeps items air tight. Amazon, you've made my day, again.
